Divaas called with all c voting yes except Councilmembers end Gipson who were excused.men Notion carried. • RESOLUTION-Cone PLAN POLICIES Dennis Derickson,Planning➢ cto stated that during the Planning Commission• public hearings on Che[reidential land use map,General tal asked the Planning Commission to consider designatingareas surrounding the hosital campus for expansion of hospital elated IN, The planning Commission and staff have asked General Hospital to usedemonstrate the need for additional land by preparing a master plan for future hospital development. However, the ,Planning Commission did recognise that the hospital and property owners on the east aide of th 1200 block of Wetmore agreed that he location and topography of the block is well suited t a multi 1 vel parking structure• that could relieve the parking problems which exist in the neighborhood,and designated the block for hospital related use. • The Planning 0epartment staff was directed to prepare policies to address the impacts of a multi-level structure which would combine parking with some type of hospital use on a level o[levels above he parking structure.
