The City's usual procedure in all personal Services <br /> contracts is to require the contractor to hold the City harmless. <br /> Dee to the unique situation and special benefits derived from Dr. <br /> Tracy's services to the City plus the length of service warrants the <br /> consideration of making an exception in this case only. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Niva, seconded by Councilman Overstreet to <br /> amend the contract to include "WHEREAS, Dr. Tracy has a long and <br /> excellent record as a City consultant". <br /> Roll was called with Councilmen Niva, Pepe and Overstreet voting <br /> yes, Councilmen Stephenson and Langus voting no and Councilmen <br /> Morrow and Gipson who were excused. <br /> Amendment carried. <br /> Roll was called on the agreement as amended with all councilmen <br /> voting yes except Councilmen Morrow and Gipson who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
