He stated <br /> ki* that Stop Abuse provides a valuable service to the community. <br /> il, 4 ' Karen Hecht-Wagner,Executive Director of Stop Abuse, stated if the <br /> Council or the City has concerns about how the shelter is run,they <br /> will be glad to respond. She stated the questionnaires have all <br /> been completed by the Stop Abuse board members and hopefully this <br /> will put the problem to rest <br /> Councilmember Stephenson stated he recognizes that running the <br /> shelter is a difficult job. Xt is the respenslbility Of the CounCil <br /> to be assured that the service provided is a benefit to the clients, <br /> that the City's contribution is used wisely and that the shelter <br /> I. 1. il operation runs properly. He stated the issue today is whether Stop <br /> Abuse hao complied with their current contract with the City and <br /> with the completion of the questionnaires,he belieges they have <br /> Greg Iverson,3306 Wetmore,stated he is the attorney for Stop Abuse <br /> and is also a board member.
