Under the proposed <br /> in:county plan, all cities would continue to delegate all solid waste <br /> ItallTr'ege tUittrolftcyZet:h:islTs't conrthinu:°tUontdblen;:t? <br /> waste management authority to the county. He recommended that <br /> before the City Councilforfelts control over solid waste management, <br /> the city should study its solid waste management options and produce <br /> a city comprehensive plan. The study would cover all options <br /> available to the city, including continued delegation to the <br /> county. The city study sill focus on opportunities evallabe to the <br /> city which may not be available county-wide. <br /> He said to accomplish this study,he recommended that an additional <br /> $125,001 be appropriated and that this appropriation be funded by <br /> assessing a 58 utility tax on garbage collection in the City of <br /> Everett. <br /> Bruce Jones, City Attorney said in 1982 the city agreed to go with <br /> V/Zthe county rico but it was not executed.
