The staff recommends that the City <br /> Council concur with the Hearing Examiner's recommendation to approve <br /> the rezone subject to a concomitant agreement. One of the <br /> conditions of the rezone is prior to recording of the rezone, <br /> Burling Northern must record an easement to the City for utility, <br /> maintenance vehicle and pedestrian access easements over under, <br /> along and across proponent's property to the City of Everett owned <br /> riverfront property at a location and alignment to be determined by <br /> the the City. <br /> Herb Carpenter, of Reid Middleton, representing Meridian Aggregates, <br /> stated that Meridian Aggregates is a subsidiary of Burlington <br /> Northern ant is agreeable to encourage and make every effort to <br /> provide the easement but the final determination of granting the <br /> access easements rests with Burlington Northein The easement <br /> documents have not been finalized by the City and therefore no <br /> 1 <br /> physical locations can be presented to the railroad for their <br /> consideration <br /> I <br /> moved by Councilman Overstreet, seconded by Co ncilmember Stephenson I, <br /> to continue the public hearing on Council bill Mo.881-7, the rezone <br /> of the Meridian Aggregates/Burlington thor.er property, for at least 11 <br /> thirty days to resolve some of the keY iSsues <br /> b <br /> i <br /> %111wmaelben.gon wi <br /> llt <br /> h <br /> all pound <br /> "ting y" e"e" <br /> 1' 1 <br /> 11; <br /> 1 J i <br /> ' 411'1 <br /> '!!' <br />
