72 February 10,1988 WHEREAS,the City Council finds that a Notice Of Intention to Annex to the City of Everett for the area is pending before the Snohomish County Bounder"Review 0nard:and WHEREAS,the City Council finds that State law requires that - a Comprehensive Plan'land use designation be established for areas annexed to the City:and WHEREAS, the City Council finds after reviewing Planning Commission recommendations at public hearings on January 6,1988 end February 10,1988, that the General Comprehensive Plan policies and :11,4.gNal.,,c:ralreinefter set forth are in the best interest of NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 1. The Comprehensive Plan designation of Single Family Detached 1-5 dwelling units per gross acre is hereby adopted for the property as set forth on the attached • Comprehensive Plan map which is incorporated herein by reference. 2. All new development in the annexation area must be In compliance with the City's adopted Comprehensive General Plan policies. 3. The existing Comprehensive General Plan map and policies of the City of Everett shall upon annexation of the property which is set forth on the attached Comprehensive Plan Hap to the City, be amended as hereinabove provided. Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes. Motion carried. COUNCIL BILL NO.881-6 FINAL READING: AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code) to encompass an area north of 100th Street SE and no:threat of the intersection with 27th Avenue SE.(Rezone 611-87) Moved by CouncIlmember Gipsonseconded by Councilmember Morrow that this Ls declared to be the final reading of Council Bill 6881-6 and the City Clerk is directed to call the roll for the final disposition of the ordinance.
