74 <br />- I <br /> February 10,1988 <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.882-25 <br /> FIRST READING, <br /> It7Wer.'vacat'°n c'f th' ea"" <br /> HEARING EXAMINER REPORT <br /> Jim Driscoll, Hearing Examiner, said he was going to briefly review <br /> his activities today and that a written report would be <br /> forthcoming. He said the mast activity was in the Silver Lake area <br /> with rezones and Special Property Permit issues. The shoreline <br /> permits at the waterfront have increased greatly also. <br /> Work was done on the Comprehensive Plan and the Sub-division <br /> Regulations. The Zoning Code is now being revised with special <br /> emphasis on Special Property Use Permits, procedure and criteria. <br /> He said the procedures of his hearings have not been tested in court <br /> and he felt they were correct. <br /> Councilmember Overstreet asked about remanding decisions back to him <br /> and he said he had no problem with that but he asked that direction • <br /> be given to him as to what particular issue the council was <br /> concerned about. <br /> President Niva thanked him for attending and said they would look <br /> forward to his written report. <br /> • <br /> On motion,the meeting adjourned at 10:10 a.m. <br /> C9711-, <br /> • <br /> y er <br /> Read and approved as printed. <br />
