00 February 17,1908 • <br /> Bob Berg, Parsons <br /> Brinckerhoff, reviewed the design of the <br /> transportation improvements planned for the West Marine View Drive <br /> corridor as part of the roadway upgrading to handle the traffic from <br /> the Navy's HomeDort Base an the Everett waterfront. <br /> The proposed Improvements consist of reconstruction and widening of <br /> 1.1 miles of West Maxine View Drive from Hewitt northerly to 18th <br /> Street. This Includes the reconstruction of the 21st Street Bridge, <br /> widening it from four lanesto.six lanes. <br /> Key elements include a <br /> Pool sidewalk from 18th Street to TStreet, a pedestrian <br /> roe <br /> ssing of the 25th Street West <br /> t Marine View Drive <br /> intersection, providing grade separated pedestrian ecs to Grand <br /> Avenue at 25th Street. Thirteen•intersections are proposed for • <br /> reconstruction or installation of new traffic signals. <br /> The cost of the <br /> relocations, is esti mated at$ 12,950,0lg 00. Most of ht of wthe improvementay and s <br /> planned will be constructed under funding from the Defense Roadway <br /> Access account.
