They <br /> ''I <br /> recommended that it come before the whole council at a workshop 1 1 <br /> 11. meeting. <br /> Errol Lee of 1616 Wetmore said he was a member of the committee for <br /> "Build a Better Ball Park". He said during their meetings there <br /> i 1 <br /> were a lot of tough questions and answers but they tried to do their <br /> e <br />. best for the City of Everett. He pointed out the report before the '' I <br /> 1 council has all the information and has the full support of the <br /> committee. He said there are four things he wanted to point out,it <br /> is low cost family entertainment, it will show an economic benefit $1'h <br /> to the City of Everett, it will get Everett's name out and beyond <br /> the border in a positive manner and fill the seats. The committee could finance this project through a <br /> local bank and the council would have to commit these monies. <br /> Cooncilmember Gipson asked if this would tie up all the funds from 11$0 <br />' the Hotel/hotel Tax Fund, would there be money fox other capital <br /> projects or any other kind of project. <br /> 1 1 <br /> Ceuncilmember Stephenson said when the council set aside the dollars <br /> for capital improvements, they knew eventually there would be <br /> sOmething they wanted to use the money for and he thought this <br /> 14 p; <br /> project was very worthy fox GIP money. <br /> S/ <br /> ,r <br /> 1 , <br />
