A portion of that ordinance 4 , <br /> designated different times for different age groups with a 1:30 a.m. 4, <br /> closing time. Many letters have been received in support of Buzzy's <br /> on Broadway,the only teen dance club in the City. Mr.Buzz McLeod, <br /> owner of Buzzyks,hes expressed his concern thatthe split times for '1 I <br /> the different age groups will net only create a unsurmountable <br /> condition which will make it financially impossible to operate but <br /> will also make the teen patrons travel t.MerWeville, LYnnweed er <br /> Seattle where such restrictions do not apply. <br /> CounCilmember Morrow stated he felt that some review of the <br /> regulations are in order to insure that the teenagers in the City t ' <br /> have a safe nOn-01001101.environment to socialize with their peers. <br /> Councilmember Stephenson stated the main purpose of Ordinance No. <br /> 1454-88 was to deal with problems at these types cf establishments , <br /> and to provide for the safety of the young people.
