MAYOR'S COMMENTS A li r Under Mayor's Comments, Al Theal, Public Works Director, said the ':k n main water line into the city across the trestle had a leak in it and because of the heat, they didn't want to shut it down. They were trying to fill the reservoir first in case the shut-down was r I::AI : necessary so there wouldn't be too much inconvenience to the public. The regular meeting reconvened with all councilmembers in attendance. CITIZEN COMMENTS VIalter Joyce of 3331 139th Pl.N.M.,Stanwood said he had purchased I: 1 some property on East Hewitt and asked to hook-up to the water transmission line. He said he had just paid the property off and did not get notice of the passage of Ord. 1374-87 and when he inquired into hooking up he was told this was not possible. He said •III A,,A A:A he had a warranty deed and easement issued to the former owners that 11]'': provided that at some time a hook-up could be made for water.
