She
said the hearing would be held in an orderly way and said a court
reporter would be in attendance. He said special benefit analysis 78
assures that proportionate similaxily located properties should be 68
.1thaEi3,9,essessed.
21 .
17
Brian Jones, of Public Works, showed slides of the project and said - 28
LID 717 is 6.1 miles of street improvement, including water, sewer 07
and storm drain improvments on Oth Ave. West from 104th St. to the
south and Holly Drive to the north. It is.the last and most complex 64
of the "Southooint" LiDs because it involves the use of
Transportation Improvement Board (formerly UABO and Federal Aid for 72
Urban Systems grant funding, in addition to contributions from the
city's half cent gas tax, Transit and Utilities Funds. He said also
the LID required the rebuilding of an entire street, rather than 77
just widening the street and finally 4th Ave. W. consists of
proportionately more residential properties than the other
Southpoint LIDs.
He reviewed the estimated and actual costs for the LID saying they 47
estimated the total cost of the project would be$2,566,500, with a .00
.93
grant of$2,081,000 leaving the total preliminary assessment roll to
.11
be$658,650. The actual project cost was 8 $2,072,617 but the amount
.74
of the grant was reamed to 943,072. Utilities Division
contributed $16,403, Transit $29,961 and half cent gas tax
contributed was$230,000 plus interest earnings of$60,896 leaving
the final assessment roll in the amount of$791,884.
nidees'Irthilrif Ort:1587dc= gPrIhs"ITZ. t:
Exhibit ff. x
