The bid opening was held on September 29, 1988 and one bid was rejected for arriving late. The only remaining bid was from Varian Instrument Group in the amount of 064,968. " 011 BID AWARD Moved by Councilmember Stephenson, seconded by Councilmember Languw to award the bid to the lowest and most responsive bidder, Varian Instrument Group of Sugar Land,Texas in the amount of 864,965.00. Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes. Motion carried. I '% 1" 1 EASEMENT Snohomish County P.U.D. No. 1 has requested an easement from the City of Everett to install/construct an underground electrical vault north of Reservoir No.3 and at the southerly end of Highway Place. The vault is needed to provide electrical power to the condominium 1! to the north. The P.U.D. has also agreed to allow the City electrical access to the vault if needed in the fUtUre. Moved by Councilmember Longue, seconded by Councilmember Gipson to authorize the blayor to execute an easement to the Snohomish County P.U.b. No. 1 to install an underground electrical vault north of Reservoir No.3 end at the southerly end of Highway Place. Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes.
