December 8,1988 <br /> 502 <br /> BID CALL <br /> To authorize a call for statement of qualifications for serVices as <br /> a project coordinator for the Wastewater Treatment Plant <br /> construction management. <br /> Roll was called on the consent agenda items with all councilmembers <br /> voting yes except for Councilmembers Overstreet and Stephenson who <br /> were excused. <br /> Notion carried. <br /> BID REPORT <br /> A resolution was adopted on September 28, 1988 ordering the <br /> demolishment of of the structure located at 7606 Beverly Boulevard. <br /> A Notice of the Council Order was mailed to the owner of the <br /> property and also posted on the property. Bids were requested from <br /> all demolition contractors with the bid opening held on November 17, <br /> 1988. Wolford Trucking and Salvage was the only bidder with a bid <br /> of$4,950 plus state sales tax. <br /> BID AWARD <br /> Moved by Cooncilmember Pope, seconded by Councilmember Langus to <br /> award the bid for the demolition of the structure at 7606 Beverly <br /> Boulevard to Wolford Trucking and Salvage at a cost of $4,950.00 <br /> plus state sales tax. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes except <br /> Councilmembers Overstreet and Stephenson who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION-COMPUTER PURCHASE <br /> , A minicomputer is needed in the Service Center to support the <br /> relocation of the utility Billing Division and to also enhance the <br /> computer capabilities of the other departments. The recommended <br /> system is a medium sized Wang VS5000 which will be connected in the <br /> network with the other three existing Wang VS computer systems.
