SS February 15,1956 <br /> BID REPORT <br /> A bid call was authorized for energy conservation measures for <br /> Legion Memorial Golf Course Restaurant and Pro Shop. One bid was <br /> received from Merit Mechanical which was incomplete and id <br /> determined to be unresponsive. <br /> A local contractor, Rodgers Electric,was solicited for a proposal <br /> on the project. Their bid does include the proposal of Merit <br /> Mechanical,for the energy mansgement system portion of the work and <br /> addresses the complete project with RodgerS eleCtrie mcting EF <br /> e general contractor. <br /> Ita:ofasrl=etcl Irnobni-dreePOLSWIndMe:=712ke ridretioeVoeheg <br /> Electric of Everett for$28,550. <br /> BID AWARD <br /> Moved by Councilmember Gipson, seconded by Councilmember Morrow to <br /> declare the bid of Merit Mechanical non-responsive and award the bid <br /> for the energy conservation measures for Legion Memorial Golf Course <br /> Restaurant and Pro Shop to Rodgers Electric of Everett for <br /> $26,473.53 plus state sales tax of $2,064.94 for a total of <br /> $28,538.47. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes except <br /> Councilmember Pope who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR SMALL WORKS ROSTER <br /> RCS 35.22.620 allows first class cities to set up a 'Small Works <br /> Roster"for the construction of proIects of$100,000 or les, The <br /> mall works Rosters is composed of all contractors who have <br /> requested to be on the roster and are properly licensed or <br /> registered to perform work in the State. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Gipson,seconded by Councilmember Overstreet <br /> to authorize the advertisement for a Small Sark Roster for <br /> construction projects of 8100,000 or less. <br /> Roll mas called with all councilmembers voting Yes excePt <br /> Councilmember Pope who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> I I <br />' I <br />
