Co= e " <br /> priorities for 1989 as follows: <br /> WHEREAS,the mission of the Human Needs Advisory Committee is <br /> to determine annually the human needs in the City of Everett, to <br /> prioritize those needs,and to allocate monies to most benefit those <br /> needs;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Needs Advisory Committee has determined <br /> that the following list of human needs'ionwhich have been ranked in <br /> priority order, with a focus on prevent , win be funded in 1989 <br /> to qualified programs inside the City of Everett: <br /> 1. Domestic Violence -- areas concerning child abuse, <br /> elderly abuse, spousal abuse, emergency housing and <br /> family education. <br /> 2. Medical/Dental Needs <br /> 3. Substance Abuse <br /> 4. Elderly Programs <br /> 5. Developmentally Disabled Programs <br /> 6. Food Programs <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Everett City Council endorses the HUMan Needs <br /> AdViS0r,COMMittee'S priority list for 1989 funding and encourages <br /> qualified agencies to submit their proposals. <br /> Roll was celled with all councilmembers voting yes except <br /> Councilmenbers Diamond and Overstreet who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> CONSULTANT SELECTION <br /> Councilmember Gipson reported on the Consultant Selection process <br /> for preparation of the specifications and bid parameters for the <br /> three fire stations.
