The CitY can <br /> exercise options for two additional years. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Morrow, seconded by Councilmemberyes Lan.. te <br /> authorize the Mayor to execute a lease for Museum office space with <br /> Newland Development Co. for 406 square feet at 2911 1/2 Hewitt <br /> Avenue for$305.00 per month. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting except <br /> Councilmembers Pope and Overstreet who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT <br /> Moved by Councilmember Lin., seconded by Councilmember Gipson to <br /> authorize the Mayor to execute an indemnification agreement with <br /> Snohomish County for the 7th Annual Silver Lake Triathlon to be held <br /> on July 16,13219. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes except <br /> Councilmembers Pope and Overstreet who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> INTERURBAN TRAIL DESIGN STUDY <br /> Bob Cooper,Park Director,stated the City of Everett has been part <br /> of a joint study with the Icities of Mountlake Tetrace and Lynnwood I and Snohomish County to address the feasibility of a pedestrian <br /> access trail from Mountlake Terrace to Everett along the old <br /> Interurban. Each community has a segment of trail within its <br /> boundaries and development of each segment would be up to the local <br /> agencses. The study, by Carey Caldwell Partnership, addresses the <br /> concept of developing a connecting pedestrian trail in conjunction <br /> with the Light Rail proposal. The study has been approved by <br /> Mountlake Terra.and Lynnwood. <br /> Ken Caldwell,of Carey Caldwell Partnership,presented slides of the <br /> proposed trail and also reviewed a video presentation prepared by <br /> University of Washington students on the pedestrian trail. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Morrow, seconded by Councilmember Gipson to <br /> approve the conceptual plan which is to be forwarded to Snohomish <br /> County for their action to include this concept as part of the Light <br /> Rail Plan. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes ....Pt <br /> Counoilmembers Pope and Overstreet who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br />'.1;111001$.1.1.- <br />
