AN ORDINANCE of the City Council Of the CitY of Everett, <br /> Washington, authorizing the reallocation and expenditure of <br /> 61,500,000 of the proceeds of the City's limited tax general <br /> obligation bonds, 1988, issued in the aggregate amount of <br /> $8,250,000, to acquire, construct and equip certain library <br /> and park facilities and improvements within the City and <br /> authorizing a plan of improvements with respect to such <br /> reallocation of bond proceeds. <br /> 1 <br /> HEARING-VACATION <br /> t President Niva stated the purpose of the public hearing is to <br /> consider the vacation of approximately 4,00D square feet lying south <br />[ of 26th Street and north and west of I-5. <br /> Craig Fullerton, Real Property Manager, ateted the vacation to <br /> 11 I cthestNfegtiOn'.'Pligeren atr:n'cfct!eill.TieTIrttshe"p7op:2 <br /> vacation area. It is recommended that City Council approve the <br /> vacation of State Street lying south of 26th Street and west and <br /> north of I-5 subject to the following, <br />[ t: 2N:nnt OVoN-1==e:Itp:Mntlue. <br /> President Wive asked if anyone wished to speak and no one replied. <br /> I Moved by Councilmen..Overstreet, seconded by Councilmember Gipson <br /> to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes excePt <br /> Councilmember Pope who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> VACATION <br /> Moved by Councilmember Diamond,seconded by Councilmember Overstreet <br /> to authorize the vacation of approximately 4,000 square feet south <br /> of 26th Street and north and west of I-5,subject to an independent <br /> appraisal and payment of one-half of the appraised value. <br /> Roll was celled with all councilmembers voting yea except <br /> Councilmember Pope who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 1 1 <br />
