Mark Nesse, Library Director, reported that the Library issue was approved by the voters in May of 1987. According to all recommendations,the more desirable location for a Library is in the downtown core area. The property under consideration is the 25 feet south of the City's property line. Mr. Nesse said that acquisition of this property is necessary to provide the space for adequate functional design of the building and to enhance the historic value of the Library entrance.
