It is <br /> imperative that the citizens have some opportunity to pa. in the <br /> vicinity of City services. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Pope seconded by Councilmember Morrow to <br /> adopt Resolution No.3191 deAgneting two parking stalls for"Police <br /> AB' Vehicles Only"on Wetmore Avenue and designating four parking stalls <br /> for'Fire Department Vehicles Only"on Oakes Avenue. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Overstreet,seconded by Councilmember Morrow <br /> 4,, ' to amend the resolution by deleting all reference to Police parking <br /> on California. <br /> AV'PA4 Councilmenber Overstreet stressed the importance of public access <br /> and asked that a recommendation regarding the parking stalls Sr the <br /> , west end of .11 Street removing the Pering reetrictions to eitY <br /> vehicles be brought to Council for consideration. <br /> = Deputy Chief Davis, Police Department, said that because it is <br /> necessary to bring witnesses and victims to the interrogation rooms <br /> = at the Yletnore Building, it is necessary to have adequate parking <br /> close to the entrance.
