A'r <br /> 313 <br /> August 16,1989 <br /> CITIZENS COMIENTS <br /> ASSOCIATED SAND&GRAVEL COMPLAINT <br /> Gino Romero, 503 Veralene Way, submitted a petition from the <br /> residents of Veralene Estates, complaining about noise and air <br /> pollution from the Associated Sand and Gravel Company plant. <br /> President Niva stated that Associated Sand&Gravel has applied to <br /> City Council for a rezone of 2.7 acres of its property from R-1 to <br /> 0-1. This will be heard by City Council on September 20,1989,at <br /> 7:00 p.m. On August 31, 1989, at 3.00 p.m., the Hearing Examiner <br /> will hear the applicant's petition for Special Property Use Permit <br /> for strip mining on the same parcel. , <br /> ' As matters concerning Associated Sand and Gravel will be coming <br /> before City Council in the future, President give asked the ' <br /> Councilmembers not to discuss this issue at this time.
