The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 0:30 a.m., January 10, 1990 in the Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall,President Pope presiding. Mayor Kinch awarded Geoff Larsen, Horticulturist for the City, the Employee of the Month award for outstanding service. Geoff is responsible fOr the beautiful flower plantings throughout the City. , 1 . L; i '9'E9rS , Councilmember Morrow reported on a letter he sent to Mayor Kincn regarding placing a temporary branch library on the City.s (Cole) property at Silver Lake and recommending that the City pursue the purchase of the centron property. Gretchen Shaffer and Charlein Pinkham have also resigned, making three vacancies on the Planning Commission. Councilmember GrpsOn reported that the City Selection Committee ' interviewed three architectural firma for consulting services on [: Fire Station A4. The committee recommends mithun Partnership.
