Mr.Martin is the Association chairman for the IOU Karate Championships. He told of the Goodwill Exchange tournament that will be held at Cascade High School in conjunction with the Goodwill Games. He introduced Alan Hovenden, local chairman,who told about the broadcasting of the tournament and games. He indicated that the broadcasting would extend to 60 countries. There will be pactioipents from all 50 states. COUNCIL COMMENTS Councilman Morrow stated he was pleased with the Chamber of Commerce ge=ltsettlig;t=the aeft=e=EeXgetT!de by the Chamber end the City Councilman Moser indicated he was still working on the animal shelter location issue. Councilman Diamond along with Mayor cinch told of the complaints they have received regarding the speed humps on Federal Avenue and the fact that there are too many. Mayor Kinch mentioned that :g mlnistration and the Office of Neighborhoods have come up with m creative ideas in dealing with this problem. He requested that the Traffic Advisory Committee hold off on any more installations of speed humps.
