Mr.Martin is the Association chairman for the IOU Karate <br /> Championships. He told of the Goodwill Exchange tournament that <br /> will be held at Cascade High School in conjunction with the Goodwill <br /> Games. He introduced Alan Hovenden, local chairman,who told about <br /> the broadcasting of the tournament and games. He indicated that the <br /> broadcasting would extend to 60 countries. There will be <br /> pactioipents from all 50 states. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Morrow stated he was pleased with the Chamber of Commerce <br /> ge=ltsettlig;t=the aeft=e=EeXgetT!de by the Chamber end the City <br /> Councilman Moser indicated he was still working on the animal <br /> shelter location issue. <br /> Councilman Diamond along with Mayor cinch told of the complaints <br /> they have received regarding the speed humps on Federal Avenue and <br /> the fact that there are too many. Mayor Kinch mentioned that <br /> :g <br /> mlnistration and the Office of Neighborhoods have come up with <br /> m creative ideas in dealing with this problem. He requested that <br /> the Traffic Advisory Committee hold off on any more installations of <br /> speed humps. <br />
