BUDGET AMENDMENT 'kiJ I Moved by Councilman Morrow, seconded by Councilman Overstreet to authorize an expenditure of $20,000 to hold a special election on 1'q''j ' September 16, 1990 to consider fluoridation of the City's water sePPlY. Dean Hanson, 7514 Beverly Lane, representing the Safe Water iT.I I I Coalition of Washington State cited various publications linking fluoridation with cancer. 41,110 Councilman Morrow responded and stated that the reason for putting this topic on the ballot was so that citizens could make the decision.
