Bids will be <br /> received until 2:00 p.m., June 20,1990 at the City Clerk's Office, <br /> City Hall. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> BIOS REJECTED <br /> Bids were <br /> opened on May 1990 for the SignalDetection Upgrade <br /> ercent. Only two bidsreceived and thee low bid was13.39 <br /> percent above the engineer'sestimate. I6, <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson,seconded by Councilman Diamond to rej'Ct la <br /> the bids received May 6, 1990 for he Signal Detection Upgrade ^. <br /> project. <br /> Roil was called with all councilmen voting yes. PI Pi <br /> 1.. <br /> BID CALL JIB <br /> Moved by Councilman Moser, seconded by Councilman Overstreet to ,{ <br /> authorize a call for bids for the Signal Detection Upgrade project. <br /> Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., June 21, 1990 at the City <br /> Clerk's Office,City Hall. <br /> Pall was celled with all councilmen voting Yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION II <br /> Moved by Councilman Anderson,seconded by Councilman Gipson to adopt I <br /> resolution relating to the withdrawal of the City of Everett from <br /> the Puget Sound Council of Governments. <br /> Councilman Morrow felt that there is a need for regional planning <br /> and wanted to make sure the Cuncil w not precluded from being at <br /> the table with the formation of a new group. <br /> Mayor Minch and Councilman Dverstreet wanted to know which cities <br /> have withdrawn thus far. The Mayor suggested that Council table I. <br /> this issue until June 27th. <br /> Moved by Councilman Overstreet, seconded by Councilman Maser to <br /> table the issue of withdrawing the City of Everett from the Puget <br /> Sound Council of Governments until the June 27th Council meeting. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried.
