This bid was 32%over the <br /> estimate of$18,000. Staff recommends the bid be rejected due to <br /> the fact it was so high and that only one bid was received. <br /> Moved by Councilman Moser, seconded by Councilman Overstreet to <br /> reject the bid of $26,785 received from Scariest Roof Company for <br /> the Golf Course Roof Replacement Project received August 23,1990. <br /> Roll was celled with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman <br /> Diamond who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> JOB COMPLETE-POLICE DEPARTMENT REMODEL <br /> k, <br /> Moved by Councilmen Gipson, seconded by Councilman Overstreet to 11 <br /> approve and accept the Police Department Remodel Project as complete <br /> and begin the 30 day retention period. The <br /> process necessary to complete the community theater is a three phase f' 1' <br /> process. The first phase involves formal development of a Community <br /> Theater Plan and RFP (request for proposal). The second phase <br /> involves the review of all the developers aspiring to do the + <br /> design/build portion of the community theater and make . <br /> recommendation to the City for the prevailing developer.
