771 <br /> October 24,1090 <br /> BID AWARD <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Moser to award <br /> the contract for the Parks Fuel Tank Replacement to Nardone <br /> Mechanical,Edmonds,at their bid of$43,410 plus tax as received at <br /> the bid opening held at 2:00 p.m.,October 4,1990. <br /> Councilman Moser questioned if this included removal of contaminated <br /> products;and Joe Kozlovski ansymred that 11 010. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman <br /> Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION-DEMOLITION <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson,seconded by Councilman Diamond to adopt <br /> Resolution No.3387 authorizing the demolition of a house and garage <br /> located et 3019 High Street as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Planning and Community <br /> Development Director has found the house and garage situated on the <br /> property 1000000 01 3913 High Street to be substandard and a public <br /> nuisance pursuant to the City of Everett Uniform Housing Code;and <br /> WHEREAS,the Everett City Council finds that the Planning and <br /> Community Development Director issued a Notice and Order requiring <br /> the owner of the property to repair or demolish and remove the <br /> buildings from the property;and 1 <br /> WHEREAS,the city council glof the Ig: anotarO= <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Order issued by the <br /> Planning and Community Development Director was properly served on <br /> the owner of the property in question;and I <br /> 0010100, the City Council finds that the Planning and <br /> Community Development Director has the authority to recommend this <br /> action pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code;and <br /> notice lolF,!Eglit:,c2,mnfrgre,tujilenfoinds that the owner has been given <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, upon due consideration, deems it <br /> in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare bf the public <br /> that a resolution be adopted requiring the demolition of the <br /> buildings; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF EVERETT: <br /> 1.
