1 11 I October 31,1990 432 The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 a.m., October 31, 1990 in the City Council Chambers of 1' Everett City Hall, President Pope presiding. Upon roll call it was 1 , found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen were present except Councilman Overstreet. President Pope indicated he would be in attendance. '1 1 1 The minutes of the October 24,1990 meeting were approved as printed. 1 , MAYOR,COMMENTS 1 1, Mayor Kinch asked councilmembers to concur with his appointment of Ernie straudt and Karen Charnell to the Shoreline Master Plan Committee. There will be two additional positions open. , 1 i Moved by Councilman Morrow, seconded by Councilman Moser to concur with the appointments of Ernie Straudt and Karen Charnell to the 1,i Shoreline Master Plan Committee. : ! Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman Overstreet who was exCUsed. Motion carried. 11 , .1.7 11. Bob Smith has asked to resign from the Library Board and Mayor '[ 1 requested that Allan Darr be appointed Kinch as his replacement. Moved by Councilman Gipson,seconded by Councilman Morrow to concur with the appointment of Allen Darr to the Library Board as a replacement for Bob Smith. Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except councilman Overstreet who was excused. Motion carried. The announcement that the Boeing Company is stprogressing with the 777 Program in Everett was exciting news this paweek COUNCIL COMMENTS Councilman Gipson asked that staff be available for discussion in the budget process through the scheduled November 7th agenda today in the event that we move fester than anticipated.
