That any fund assistance so received be used in the acquisition of land adjacent to Kasch Park which includes the Basch Park bog. , 3. The City of Everett does hereby certify that the City is responsible to support all non-cash commitments to the Conservation Futures Program should they not materialize. 4. That any property acquired under Snohomish county Conservation Futures Progam be used for the preservation of i environmentally sensitive areas of significant resources in the I 4 Everett community. 5. That this resolution becomes part of the formal application to the Snohomish County Conservation Futures Program. 6. That adequate notification has been given far public input and that the Park Board has reviewed and adopted the proposed acquisition OR said property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,to submit this resolution to Snohomish County Conservation Futures Program, that the City has officially authorized application for Conservation Futures funds as outlined herewith. Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. Motion carried. BID AWARD-FIRE STATION NO.4 This agenda item was delayed. AGREEMENT-FLUORIDATION Brown 5 Caldwell Engineers were retained by the City to provide pre-design services for the Everett Water Treatment Plant expansion. The proposed supplemental agreement No. I will allow Brown 5 Caldwell to provide the engineering services required for fluoridation of Everett water. Moved by Councilman Morrow, seconded by Councilman Overstreet to authorize the Mayor to sign a supplemental consulting agreement with Brown 5 Caldwell Consulting Engineers for fluoridation engineering services.
