Ai• : 966 `{ November 21,1990 •• The regular meetingof the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 a.m.,November 21, 1990 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hell,President Pape.presiding. Upon roll call it Was found that all councilmen were present except Councilman Overstreet who,joined later, The minutes of the November 14, 1990 meeting were approved as • printed. MAYOR'S COMMENTS Mayor Kinch introduced Dave Neyens,Fire Training Chief, who in turn introduced three new firefighters: Brian Campbell, Peter Knudson • and Thomas Morse. Mark C resident of the North Everett Lions, ems introduced. Mayor Kinch e Kinch the fact that the Lions were esponsible for making a positive impact onunity with their donations. Mr. Garcia introduced "Pluggieu atalking fire hydrant robot that will be used by the fire department for fire prevention education. The purchase of Plugg le was made possible by a donation from the North Everett Lions. A demonstration followed and was enjoyed by everyone. Pluggie talked, winked, sounded his sirenand squirted water-a real attention getter. ' COUNCIL COMMENTS Councilman Diamond expressed thanks to the Administration for making enefair et the Mall possible. Mayor Kinch said that 30% of the City employees attended. Councilman Gipson commended the North Everett Lions their involvement in the community and their support Of our fire Prevention program. • Councilman Moser thanked the people that helped with the transition of the computer from the Parks Department to the Colby Building for being so efficient.
