12 0 January 9,1991 ^ SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE-DEFIBRILLATOR/MONITORS Moved by Councilman Anderson,seconded by Councilman Overstreet to o approve Resolution No. 34E0 for a sole source purchase of tae Lirepak 10 defibrillator/monitors with Quick-Pace noninvasive pacemaker option, pacing electodes end simulators as follows: WHEREAS, the City of E exett FS xe Department Ss providing Advanced Cardiac Life Support to the citizens of Everett;and WHEREAS, noninvasive pacemaking is a therapy currently recognized bye the American Heart Association as potentially an WHEREAS, the Fire Department has evaluated three (3) makes of monitor/defibrillators with pacemaking options and found that Physio control's units met our needs for uniformity, consistency and the ability to continue using current accessories.
