The Community Theater Committee has met <br /> fourteen time Ln the process of developing the Community <br /> Theater Plan. Their efforts included the review of various <br /> studies performed over the last several years; the review of <br /> applicable City Codes and policies; meeting with the.Design <br /> Consultant and the Theater Design Consultant, discussions with <br /> City Staff:and a Public Hearing and workshop. <br /> The Community Theater Plan sets in place the goals, size and <br /> location of the Community Theater. <br /> The Committee members were introduced; Councilman Ed Diamond, <br /> Councilman Ed Morrow, Bob Drewel, John Herber, Domino Fleck, <br /> Susan Reichmann,Jeanne Lagozzino and Chairman Gary Meisner. <br /> Ary Meisner, Chairman the Community Theater Committee, <br /> agwed the Committee's:recommendations stressing the need for <br /> gressive management by ethe mCity. He urged the Council's <br /> acceptance. <br /> Bob Drewel, Everett unity College President, commented o <br /> the lease/build project <br /> completed by the College for the new <br /> library.'He said the College would be a willing participant in <br /> the use of the far.ility. <br /> Tor B ,Director Everett A e chamber ofc Commerce,C ented <br /> n the nneed Por surM1 a facility to enhance tourism promotions <br /> for the City.
