Moved by Councilman Moser, seconded by Councilman Gipson to <br /> adopt Resolution No. 3463 establishing the week beginning May <br />' C 12, 1991,as Transit Appreciation Peek with May 16,1991 to be <br /> a fare-free day for Everett Transit riders as follows: <br /> TTIN'AgTecillio'neter4n2nr l'' 1000, <br /> h" "" "oclaimed <br /> WHEREAS, it has been proclaimed.that transit is vital to.the <br /> growth And Continued economic, social and environmental <br /> well-being of the City of Everett;and <br /> WHEREAS, without the continued support of Everett citizens <br /> Everett Transit would not exist;and <br /> WHEREAS, Everett Transit, City Administration and the Everett <br /> 1 c City Council wish to demonstrate their appreciation to riders <br /> of the Everett Transit system and for the support they have <br /> shown for this system. <br /> NOM,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br /> of Everett to declare Thuruday,May 16,1991,to be a fare-free <br /> day for Everett Transit riders. <br /> I Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> I <br /> 1 Motion carried. <br /> INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT-DRIVER TRAINING <br /> ( Moved by Councilman Moser, seconded by Councilman Gipson to <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign an interlocal agreement for driver <br /> training and licensing services to comply with State <br /> regulations not to exceed$6,00D. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> • Motion carried. <br /> ( <br /> il <br /> C <br />
