Upon roll <br /> call it was found that Mayor Finch and all councilmen were <br /> present except Councilman Overstreet who will be arriving later. <br /> The minutes of the May 29,1991 meeting were approved as printed. <br /> F MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> C Mayor Kinch reported on his trip to Washington, D.C. with <br /> Snohomish County Executive Willis Tucker and Paul Roberts, <br /> Planning and Community Development Director, regarding the <br /> completion of the Everett Navy Nomeport. He said that the final <br /> determination regarding base closures should IA made public by <br /> • . <br /> the end of this week. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> n111322 M:g=goele:rk cf june thr'''h '5' <br /> CCOUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Gipson asked to defer his council comments until <br /> after Councilman Overstreet arrives. <br />• <br /> Councilman Anderson complimented the Parks Department and the <br /> Public Works Department for the great job done on the Dedication <br /> and Open House held for the Water Pollution Control Facility and <br /> Langus Riverfront Park. <br />• <br /> Councilmen Moser, Morrow and Diamond commented on the DARE <br /> graduations that they have been attending and the great work <br /> C <br /> that is being done to educate our young citizens on the harmful <br /> effects of drugs. <br />• <br />
