The finalists are <br /> Travis Clifton, James Courrier, Lance Holcomb, Richard Huddell, <br /> Jerry Moore and Cathy Robinson. Mayor Kinch said that this <br /> year's decision was <br /> especially difficult and there w tie. <br /> He ted the Youth Ambassadors of the Year are Richard <br /> Huddell and Jerry Moore. Congratulations were expressed by the <br /> Council to all recognized individuals.. {' <br /> MAYOR'S COMMENTS(continued) <br /> Mayor Kinch shared with Council a copy of the Washington <br /> Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs Resolution 06, <br /> cautioning communities to consider the adverse impacts to public <br /> safety a which an result from the location and operation of any <br /> new ultipatient methadone maintenance programs in those <br /> communities. <br /> Mayor Kinch said that Council had requested to review the <br /> Transit siting issue at this time. He asked Countil to allow <br /> time for City staff to review and rethink the recommendations 0regarding the location of the Transit Center. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Overstreet reported that the Snohomish County <br /> Tomorrow Committee will be holding public meetings next week; <br /> Tuesday, J a 25, in Lake Stevens and Thursday, June 27, in <br /> Lynnwood: He encourged all councilmembers to attend. <br /> Councilman Overstreet asked for a financial report on the <br /> Community Theater. Mayor Kinch said he would be scheduling time <br /> with President Morrow for a full report to the Council. <br /> Councilman Overstreet commented that the streets appeared dirty <br /> 0 <br /> at Salty Sea Days and asked if the City could consider cleaning <br /> the streets prior to the Fourth of July parade. <br /> Councilman Moser and President Morrow commented on the Flag Day <br /> Ceremony and complimented Councilman Anderson for his dedicated <br /> involvement. <br /> n <br /> 0 <br />
