She <br /> further explained the chronology of the project and discussed <br /> the proposal of the Colby Square Partners. Of key <br /> concern was the parking area underneath the theater. <br /> Gary Meisner, chairman of the Community Theater Committee, <br /> detailed the following: location issue screening results of <br /> studies, and community input. He summarLed that the committee <br /> unanimously agreed that this is a good proposal. <br /> Frank Figg, representative from the Boeing company, urged <br /> Council to vote favorably on this proposal. <br /> Chuck Ogden, Dykman Architects, advised that the site was <br /> adequate but not the best location and didn't share enthusiasm <br /> for the design-build concept. <br /> Art Skotdahl, 1602 Hewitt, shared concerns about the bidding <br /> process,specifically the timing end bonding requirements. <br /> 0 <br /> Mike Hanson 9721 58th Place W., Nukilteo, introduced Bill <br /> Rucker, former city councilman and merchant who spoke in favor <br /> of the proposal. <br /> August Nardesich, 4712 Mermott Drive,agreed that it was a good <br /> project;however,stated that other sites were available and was <br /> concerned about the lack of communication and the actual cost of <br /> the project. <br /> 0 <br />
