In <br /> (1 addition,Associated will contribute$15,000 toward trees to be <br /> planted on City property along the new roadway. <br /> Mayor Minch thanked Art Hanson, Associated Sand and Gravel,for <br /> his efforts in working through this project. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilman Moser who voted no end Councilman Gipson who was <br /> excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> BID REPORT-ASPHALT ROLLER <br /> Three bids for an asphalt roller were opened at the bid <br /> opening,June 20,1991,as follows: <br /> Smith Tractor,Mt.Vernon $9,670.70* <br /> Sehlberg Equipment,Seattle 13,950.23 <br /> Utility Equipment,Seattle 16,027.87 <br /> 11 <br /> w01d not meet specifications because it had a gas engine instead of the diesel engine required. <br /> Staff recommends awarding the bid for the asphalt roller to <br /> Sehlberg Equipment, the lowest and moat responsive bidder, at <br /> their price of$13,950.23 including Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> BID AWARD <br /> Roved by Councilman Moser, seconded by Councilmen Anderson to <br /> award the bid for the asphalt roller to Sehlberg Equipment, <br /> Seattle,the lowest and most responsive balder, at their price <br /> of$13,950.23 including Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> Roll was called with allncilmen voting yea except <br /> Councilman Gipson who was excused. <br /> CMotion carried. <br /> �' II <br />
