367 <br /> .July 24,1991 <br /> �+ WHEREAS, the Everett City Council, on May 21, 1991, awarded a <br /> bid to Bobby Wolford Tucking and Salvage, for demolition of <br /> the building at 3923 High Street, subject to the City working <br /> with the property owner in order to possibly avert the need for <br /> demolition;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the owner of the <br /> property has a sale pending which would result In the <br /> re habilitation oP tM1e budding;antl <br /> C WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the rehabilitation <br /> Ij <br /> of the building rather than demolition of the buildingwouldbe <br /> preferable for both the City and the Property ow and <br /> WHEREAS,the Everett City Council finds that due to the pending <br /> berequired; <br /> f the bject property demolition of the building will <br /> not <br /> NOM, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT: <br /> 1. That due to the pending sale the building located at 3923 <br /> b <br /> High Street will not demolished. <br /> 4 C 2. That Bobby Wolford Trucking end Salvage is hereby released <br /> by the City from its obligation for demolition of the building <br /> at 3923 High Street, Everett as established by the bid award <br /> dated May 21,1991. <br /> That if the pending sale has not Closed on or before August <br /> J, 1991, City staff shall report to Council before further <br /> action is taken by the City related to the demolition of the <br /> building. <br /> Roll was Called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br /> President Morrow expressed thanks <br /> t Councilman <br /> Gipson P his <br /> efforts in getting the SnohomishCounty Information <br /> Center reopened at the Quality Inn,12Bth location. <br />
