'� C• August 14,1991 424 C' NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor 1s hereby authorized to draft and sign a letter endorsing the CSO control legislative proposal of the CSO Partnership/and tosolicit the support of Congressman.Al Swift regarding the legislative proposal of the CSO Partnership. Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. Motion carried. C4 AGREEMENT-TRANSMISSION LINE NO.2 REPLACEMENT PROJECT Mooed by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Pope to authorize the Mayor to sign a supplemental agreement with demes M. Montgomery, Inc. for the design of Phase II of the Transmission Line NO.2 Replacement Project. In August, 1990, a consultant selection committee recommended ded that James M. Montgomery, Inc. be retained to design the replacement 0f approximately 10 miles of Transmission Line No. 2. Council conm red with this recommendation and a consulting agreement was subsequently executed between the City and Janes M.Montgomery,Inc. To avoid selling bonds to finance this project the replacement of Transmission Line No.2 is being ac complished in phases over a period of approximately six years. The design of Phase Iis W complete. Thie s pplemental agreement will authorize James M. Montgomery to begin design oPhase II of the Transmission Lina No.2 Replacement Project. Roil was:called with all councilmen voting yes. Motion carried. COUNCIL BILL 9107-41 FINAL READING: AN ORDINANCE amending Section 36 of Ordinance N0.1237-86 (ENC 14.16.360) which prohibits the wasting of water and establishes a penalty charge. Bruce Jones said that Section 36 is the needs of Ordinance N0. 1237-a6 that is being amended and this to be noted in the /I{F Ordinance. He also asked that reference t0 the Everett C.- Municipal Code(ENC 14.16.360)be added. C
