460 0 <br /> August 28,1991 <br /> The City Clerk was directed to call the roll for the final <br /> disposition of theordinance. <br /> AYES: Anderson,Moser,Diamond,Gipson,Marrow, <br /> Pope,Overstreet <br /> NAYS: None <br /> Ordinance Na. 1012-01 <br /> adopted. <br /> O <br /> PUBLIC NEARING-:RESOLUTION—AMENDING GENERAL PLAN <br /> President Morrow opened the public hearing on adopting <br /> solution amending the General Plan of the City of Everett as <br /> provided for by Everett Municipal Code Title 2, Section 2 <br /> Subsection 120;-to-encompass a a between 2100 Avenue SE an0 <br /> 27th Avenue SE along 100th Street SE and setting October 2, 1991 <br /> Por the second public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br /> speak. <br /> Robert and Belva Perry, 10020 23rd Drive SE,spoke in opposition <br /> to this as they have a home that they have been converting to a <br /> duplex:and with this change in the general plan would not be <br /> able to complete it. Mr,Perry also had a concern regarding the l / <br /> visibility problem at the hill on 100th. <br /> President Morrow <br /> asked the Planning Department to look into this <br /> problem and help resolve it. <br /> Allan Giffen explained that records from the County indicating <br /> that this was authorized by the County for u s a duplex was <br /> needed and further explained the appeal process¢ <br /> Paul Roberts, Planning, indicated that he would work with the <br /> Perrys to see what options are available to them. <br /> Moved by councilman Pope,seconded by Councilman Gipson to close <br /> the public nearing. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 0 <br />
