C 498 September 18,1991 RESOLUTION-SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Anderson to adopt Resolution No. 3527 authorizing a sole source purchase of traffic signal controllers to Winkomatic-Nultisonics as follows: WHEREAS, the Traffic Division of Public Works desires to upgrade And standardize twenty-two traffic signal locations and, C' WHEREAS, Multisonics 970/VMS controllers are compatible with existing cabinets and communications systems,and, WHEREAS, the controllers and software are copyrighted by Winkomatic-AWItisonics, who are, therefore, the only company that can supply this equipment,and, WHEREAS, funds are available in Ahe 1991 budget for this purchase and Public Works intends Co budget for additional controllers in 1992 and, WoM:tattEeve=f'f4::Wld ha, qu000d price belna the net k NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that the Purchasing Division is authorized to purchase twelve controllers from Winkomatic-Nultisonics at a price of$3,300.00 each, for a total of 539,600.00 and, that they may purchase up to ten additional controllers in 1992 provided that they are budgeted for purchase in 1992. Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman Diamond who was excused. Motion carried. AGREEMENT-CONSULTING Moved by Councilman Overstreet,seconded by Councilman Anderson to authorize the Mayor to sign supplemental consulting agreement No.2 with David Evans and Associates. David Evans and Associates was retained in April 1989 to design a stormwater control pond. The purpose of the pond was to remove pollutants in stormwater runoff in the Silver Lake Watershed. Supplemental Agreement No. teas executed in September 1989. C This supplemental agreement authorized David Evans and Associates to perform limited construction management services. C
