565 <br /> COctober 23,1591 <br /> Coral DeWilliam, ORB, summarized the major points or changew.in <br /> the RFP: lease payments begin after subst:ntial completion as <br /> opposed to final completion; plans and specifications <br /> acceptance; and scheduling. She acknowledged the schedule would <br /> be more likely 2 years that the projected 1 1/2. <br /> Bill Bane, NBBJ,expressed enthusiasm for the project and stated <br /> their firm has a long history of designing performing arts <br /> facilities. He stated that the theater meets the RFP. <br /> Councilman Pope asked if there would be a problem with NBBJ <br /> making inspections. Mr. Bane insisted that they be involved in <br /> that process. <br /> Don Berg, Colby Square Partners, expressed a need for good <br /> communications and that as a project is built some changes need <br /> tc occur. He said the target is to get the most for the money. <br /> He requested that scheduling start upon receipt of permits. <br /> Mike Hanson, Everett Mutual Savings Bank, gave credit to the <br /> Mayor and City Council for the start in revitalizing the <br /> downtown area. Further he pointed out that the City has net <br /> addressed parking and transit capacity for the downtown area. <br /> Mayor Kinch encouraged councilmembers to make a commitment. <br /> Moved by Councilman Pope, seconded by Councilman Anderson to <br /> adopt Resolution No. 3543 authorizing the Mayor Lc execute a <br /> letter of understanding and revised lease for the Everett <br /> Community Theater as follows: <br /> C <br />
