672 <br /> December 11,1991 <br /> PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS 4:1 <br /> President Morrow introduced a resolution establishing the Human <br /> 09000 Ny <br /> Needs priorities for 1992. <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> Resolution NO.President d ° 09107Tlf: t..A.WnoLm.n,Zrproi .tr <br /> 1962 as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, the mission of the Human Needs Advisory Committee is <br /> to determine annually the human needs in the City of Everett, <br /> to prioritize those needs, and to allocate monies to most <br /> benefit those needs;and <br /> WHEREAS,the Human Needs Advisory Committee has determined that <br /> the following list of hums, needs, which have been ranked in <br /> priority order,with a focus on prevention' will be funded in <br /> 1.2 to qualified programs inside the City CT Everett: <br /> 1. YOUTH <br /> a. Counseling/guidance <br /> b. Shelter/food <br /> c. Substance abuse <br /> d. Pregnancy prevention <br /> e. Abuse/neglect <br /> 2. ELDERLY <br /> a. Shelter/food <br /> b. Medical assistance <br /> c. Counseling guidance <br /> d. Abuse/negleCt <br /> 3. DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED <br /> Counseling/guidance <br /> b. shelter/food <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Everett City Council endorses the Human <br /> Needs Advisory Committee's priority list for 1992 funding and <br /> encourages qualified agencies to submit their proposals. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilmen Anderson,Gipson and Overstreet who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 0 <br />
