19 <br /> January 15,1992 <br /> Councilman Moser announced that a meeting of the Paratransit <br /> group will be held on Thursday,January 16, 1992 at 7:00 p.m.in <br /> the Everett City Council Chambers regarding compliance with the <br /> American Disabilities Act. He urged his fellow council:members <br /> to attend. <br /> Councilman Moser said he had received a petition regarding <br /> residential permit parking in the 2900th block of Hoyt. He <br /> asked that the Transportation Advisory Committee consider the <br /> request. <br /> Cozncilman Diamond reported on the Snohomish Health District <br /> Meeting. <br /> Councilman Diamond stated that as the new Environmentally <br /> Sensitive Areas ordinance and the "long list" of Zoning Code <br /> amendments worked separate trails through the review process, <br /> staff neglected to add the definitions from the ESA ordinance to <br /> the packet for the long list ordinance. <br /> After discussions with the Legal Department, it is recommended <br /> that Council,consider action to add the definitions from the ESA <br /> ordinance to the"Longiiist"ordinance. <br /> Moved by Councilman Diamond, seconded by Councilman Moser that <br /> the definitions contained in the Environmentally Sensitive Areas <br /> ordinance#1538-Al be added to the revised Definitions chapter <br /> ordinance,1847-92. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br /> President Gipson announced that he will be absent from the <br /> January 29, 1992 Council meeting end Vice President Anderson <br /> will be absent from the January 22, 1902 meeting. In One event <br /> that they both would be unavailable, Councilman Diamond, as <br /> Budget Chairman,would service as Council President pro tem. <br /> President Gipson noted that a program honoring to. Martin Luther <br /> King Jr's Dream will be held on Sunday,January 19,1992 at 3:00 <br /> p.m. at the First United Methodist Church. He urged his fellow <br /> councilmembers and all citizens attend this worthwhile program. (-) <br />
