19 January 15,1992 Councilman Moser announced that a meeting of the Paratransit group will be held on Thursday,January 16, 1992 at 7:00 p.m.in the Everett City Council Chambers regarding compliance with the American Disabilities Act. He urged his fellow council:members to attend. Councilman Moser said he had received a petition regarding residential permit parking in the 2900th block of Hoyt. He asked that the Transportation Advisory Committee consider the request. Cozncilman Diamond reported on the Snohomish Health District Meeting. Councilman Diamond stated that as the new Environmentally Sensitive Areas ordinance and the "long list" of Zoning Code amendments worked separate trails through the review process, staff neglected to add the definitions from the ESA ordinance to the packet for the long list ordinance. After discussions with the Legal Department, it is recommended that Council,consider action to add the definitions from the ESA ordinance to the"Longiiist"ordinance. Moved by Councilman Diamond, seconded by Councilman Moser that the definitions contained in the Environmentally Sensitive Areas ordinance#1538-Al be added to the revised Definitions chapter ordinance,1847-92. Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. Motion carried. PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS President Gipson announced that he will be absent from the January 29, 1992 Council meeting end Vice President Anderson will be absent from the January 22, 1902 meeting. In One event that they both would be unavailable, Councilman Diamond, as Budget Chairman,would service as Council President pro tem. President Gipson noted that a program honoring to. Martin Luther King Jr's Dream will be held on Sunday,January 19,1992 at 3:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.
