PARADE PERMIT-FOURTH OF JULY f <br /> Moved by Councilman Pope, t onded by Councilman Diamond to <br /> waive the parade permit feefor the Fourth of July Parade <br /> sponsored by the Northwest Freedom Foundation. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION-HOTEL/MOTEL TAX ALLOCATION FOR 1992 <br /> Moved by Councilman Anderson,seconded by Councilman Diamond to <br /> adopt Resolution No. 3585 allocating and distributing the 1992 <br /> Hotel/Motel Tax Funds as follows: <br /> STEREOS,the City of Everett has imposed and collects annually a <br /> tax on Hotel antl Motel accommotla tions and <br /> WHEREAS, the RCM's of the State of Washington provide guidance <br /> and direction as to the use of these funds;and <br /> WHEREWHEREAS, the Everett City Council's Finance Committee has been <br /> AS, <br /> with reviewing and recommending mm nding to the full Council the <br /> se of Hotel/Motel Tax Funds;and <br /> NOM,THEREFORE,BE'IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT that the following distribution of Hotel/Motel Tax <br /> Funds be made in concert with the 1992 Budget of the City of <br /> Everett. <br /> Recipient Amount <br /> Salty Sea Days $2/,500 <br /> Freedom Foundation 16,250 <br /> Chamber of Commerce 73,320 <br /> Visitor Information Center 12,000 <br /> Special Olympics 10,000 <br /> Stadium Seats 54,000 <br /> Councilman Pope stated he wabstaining from the discussion and <br /> vote on this issue as his wife is t of the Salty Sea <br /> None <br /> Days funds. of these funds willa benefit Councilman Pope <br /> but he felt thatit would appropriate for him to abstain. <br /> Roll was Called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman <br /> Pope who abstained. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
