,• <br /> 71 <br /> February 19,1902 0 <br /> CONSULTANT SELECTION <br /> President Gipson said he had participated in a consultant <br /> selection committee for the work on the Silver Lake roadway. <br /> The committee recommended that a contract be negotiated with <br /> Entranco for this project. <br /> Moved by President Gipson, seconded by Councilman Pope to <br /> authorize the Mayor to negotiate a contract with Entrance for <br /> the Silver Lake roadway project. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. • <br /> Notion carried. <br /> ADDENDUM-ROTARY PARK <br /> Moved by Councilman Diamond, accorded by Councilman Moser to <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign contract addendum No.3 between the <br />' City of Everett and Reid Middleton for replacement of the rock <br /> groin debris deflector with a log boom deflector as required by <br /> permit at Rotary Park. <br /> Roll was call.with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • <br /> RESOLUTION-WATER TRESTMENT PLANT EXPANSION <br /> Clair Olivers, Assistant Public Works Director, recommended <br /> that the principal amount be corrected to read$8,000,000. <br /> Moved by Councilman Overstreet,seconded by Councilman Campbell <br /> to adopt Resolution No. 3600 declaring intent to issue water <br /> and sewer revenue bonds to reimburse certain expenditures <br /> toward predesign and design construction of Phase I of the <br /> Everett Water Treatment Plant Expansion project including the <br /> correctiOn to$8,000,000 as follows: <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett, Washington (the "City") owns,and <br /> operates a combined sewer collection and treatment and water <br /> supply and distribution system;and <br /> WHEREAS, increased consumption, expansion of the customer base <br /> and changes in water quality regulations require expansion of <br /> the City's Water Treatment Plant;and <br /> ) <br /> 1 <br />
