May 13,1992 <br /> 11 <br /> CHANGE ORDER-THEATER PROJECT <br /> Moved tNeCounctvman Campbell,seconded by Councilmen Overstreet <br /> to-approve Change Order No. 1 for stage equipment, lighting, <br />! signage,and landscaping for the theater project. <br /> Finance Director Bill Cushman explained that this change order <br /> would put the short-term deferment items back into the contract <br /> at the bid price. Since these items have always been needed to <br /> complete the theater, withrwithout private donations, <br /> bantingency funds have continued to be included in the theater <br /> udget. No additional funds are required in order to approve <br /> the change order. <br /> Rall was called with ellncilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilmen Anderson and Diamond rho were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> HOLO HARMLESS AGREEMENT-PARADE(D.A.R.E.) <br /> Moved by Councilman Pope, seconded by Councilman Overstreet to <br /> authorize'the Mayor to sign a hold harmless agreement to <br /> partdcopate in the waterland Parade.at Des Moines on July 25, <br /> 1992,with the D.A.R.E.limousine. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilmen Anderson and Diamond who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • <br /> FUNDING APPLICATION-RENTAL REHABILITATION <br /> Moved by Councilman Moser, seconded by Councilmen Campbell to <br /> authorize the Mayor to apply for Washington State Housing <br /> Assistance Program funds for rental rehabilitation improvements. <br />• The.Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS) wa <br /> approved by City Council and o a <br /> of its goals w ontinuea <br /> Rental Rehabilitation Program using State funds through a grant <br />{ application.
