June 10,1992 (I) <br /> NON,THEREFORE.BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT as PcllOvs: <br /> SECTION 1: The City of Everett shall accept the 100% <br /> Submittal, dated May 10, 1992, including the 100% Electrical <br /> Submittal, dated May 21, 1992 for compliance with the Request <br /> for Proposals (RFP) for the Everett Community Theater. This <br /> acceptance is for compliance with the RFP only and shall <br /> specifically exclude coordination items, error, and/cr <br /> omissions on the part of Colby Square Partners. <br /> All portions OP the 100% documents shall supersede the RFP <br /> except the Pollawing: <br /> -PART II-GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> -Cur[ technical <br /> -Current review comments Gated June 5,1992,. <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 2: This resolution shall serve as Notice-to-Proceed <br /> with the Construction Phase of the Project, <br /> Councilmemberswere <br /> veryconcerned that if the Colby Square <br /> project did notproceed that there would not be enough parking <br /> Por the theater needs. After lengthy discussion and review of <br /> minutes from the October 23, 1991 City Council meeting Celia <br /> Strong pointed out that even if the Colby Square projecdid <br /> not progress there was parking available at the Mon Marche lot <br /> and Everpark. She alau told c ncilmembers that the City has a <br /> 50 year leasefor the Bon Marche lat. The Mayor told Council <br /> that there were two alternative a: 1)to build a parking garage <br /> 2) to work with the alternatives have. Coral <br /> e m <br /> lams, ORB Architects, made comments onMethe progress of <br /> the theater project and recommended adoption of the Notice to <br /> Proceed resolution. Councilman Overstreet questioned cash <br /> outlay and expected payment dates. Finance Director Bill <br /> Cushman responded. <br /> Roll was called with allcou ncilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilman Moser who was excused <br /> Motion carried. <br /> REMOVED FROM TODAY'S AGENDA: <br /> Letter of Understanding-Police Standards Committee <br /> Letter of Understanding-Police Captain <br />
