The sewer main has been completed. However, <br /> a modification to the contract is proposed. <br /> The contract modification is for providing on-going water and <br /> sewer service for the Homeport project. The contract <br /> modification would also alloy, the Navy to pay the City for <br /> water and sewer connection charges in accordance with Ordinance <br /> No.1171-135. <br /> Councilman Pope questioned the difference in water and sewage <br /> costs. Dan Mathias, Public Works, explained that the cost of a <br /> large amount of water was less due to the quantity. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
