336 <br /> September 16,1992 <br /> Councilmen Moser announced that a meeting will be held in the <br /> Snohomish County Council Chambers on Thursday,September in,an <br /> =1:111,7taIgTrirainssuwith the County Council, Everett City <br /> participants. Community Transit, and Everett'Transit as <br /> Councilman Moser reported on the Wall of Fame Rodeo Banquet he <br /> attended and recognized Marc Bolland and Don Prater for their <br /> participation in the Bus Rodeos. <br /> Councilman Oiamond congratulated Mayor Winch on his successful <br /> bike ride over three mountain passes, including Stevens Pass, <br /> last weekend. <br /> PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br /> President Gipson announced that he would be attending meetings <br /> in Washington D. C. next week and Councilman Anderson will be <br /> serving as Council President. <br /> President Gipson stated that an executive session en a <br /> personnnl matter will be held at the conclUsion of citizen's <br /> comments an the agenda. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> Ed Morrow, 2130 Colby, revievmd the process to assure the <br /> implementation of fluoridation of the Everett water system. <br /> Or. Mel Trenner, Norlonna Klein, Dr. William barter and Patty <br /> Church, all presented the positive effects and results of <br /> fluoridation. Mr. Morrow introduced all the members of the <br /> Citizens for Better Dental Health Committee. <br /> Michael Weight, City Attorney, reported that to date no <br /> petitions to place on the November ballo, a proposition to <br /> eliminate the fluoridation of the Everett water supply, have <br /> been received either by the Everett City Clerk or the Snohomish <br /> County Auditor's Office. He stated that there is insufficient <br /> time at this point to have the signatures validated and matter <br /> brought before City Council before the election deadline of <br /> September 18,1992.
